Even though Kimono has changed from everyday clothing to a ceremonial clothing, Yukata is still the most popular type of Kimono and worn by many Japanese and foreigners today.  The reasons for its popularity are probably because it is easy to wear, relatively inexpensive, requiring fewer items, and requiring fewer rules to follow. If you are interested in Japanese Kimono, Yukata is always the best one to start with. </p>
<p>Here is what you may want to know before purchasing a Yukata. </p>
<p>1.    FabricIf you already started to search for Yukatas, you might have come across with Yukatas (so they call) with satin like fabric. Those are NOT Japanese Yukatas. There were some silk yukatas back in a day however, cotton, linen, polyester blend are the ones we see today.  So watch out for shiny satin like Yukatas (?)  !!   Yet, please note that most (but not all) of the Yukatas in the market today are patterned in foreign countries using Japan made fabric under Japanese Company’s supervision. I would still considered this type of Yukata authentic since they are distributed to Japanese market and worn by many Japanese just like other Made in Japan Yukatas. </p>
<p>2.    Items NeedUnlike all other types of Kimonos, the numbers of items (accessories) you will need in order for you to wear a Yukata is just a few. *** Yukata*** Koshi Himo (2)  (cloth string to adjust and stable the Yukata length)*** Obi (Hanhaba Obi or Pre-tied Obi)*** Geta (Sandals for Yukata and Kimono)and that’s it !!   The additional items you could use are:***Kanzashi (Hair Piece)***Erishin (Collar piece to make the collar shape nice) ***Datejime / Magic Belt (Wide flat belt to stable the Yukata or Kimono)***MaeIta / ObiIta (Flat plate used to make the Obi look neat)***Kinchaku Bag (Small hand hold bag for Yukata)and so on… but they are optional. </p>
<p>3.    SizeYukata size is much flexible compared with western clothing because you can adjust its total length and Ohashori (folded Yukata fabric area under the Obi Belt) length by using koshihimo. Women’s Yukata sizes are based on the height and they are normally these three.Petite (S)       4&#8217;9&#8243; ~ 5’3”Regular (M)   5’ ~ 5’6”Tall (L)            5’5” ~ 5’9”If your height runs into two sizes, pick smaller one if you are slim or medium build and pick larger one if you are large build. </p>
<p>4.    DesignYukata shapes are all the same.  It is not like western clothing where there are round neck, v-neck, turtle neck, short sleeve, long sleeve, boots fit to skinny fit….   So enjoy the styling by picking the color and design you love !!Many Kimono masters believe 3-1 rules. 3 Obis for 1 Kimono (Yukata).  The different Obi could give your Yukata a totally fresh look ! After you get your Yukata, find more Obi, Obi, and more Obi !! </p>
<p>5.    PriceAll the kimono related items are relatively expensive. Many ceremonial Kimonos can be easily over $10,000. Even though Yukata is considered reasonable, the average single Yukata price range would be somewhere from $70 ~ $ 800.  I understand there is a big difference in $70 and $ 800. Yukatas around $70 is probably the good quality non-brand items and the Yukatas around $800 is the name brand Yukatas which are made using well-known weaving or dyeing technique. So below this range, you will probably get what you pay for… </p>
<p>6.    DressingOne problem all the kimono starter may face is to dress the yukata. Luckily, Yukata dressing is not as complicated as other types of Kimonos because you do not have to wear layers of Kimonos and also you don’t need much dressing items. However, it will not be like western clothing where you just have to put your head, arms, and legs and ready to go. You will need some practice especially if you never worn a Yukata before.  If you are planning to wear your Yukata for certain occasion or event, my advice is to purchase it in advance so that you have time to practice dressing. Oh!! and if you want to wear a yukata but don’t have time to learn or don’t want to spend time on tying your Obi, look for pre-tied Obi which has a pre-tied Obi knot. Flat Stomach<br />
Crunches are a brilliant way to keep your stomach toned &#8211; you just need to ensure you are doing them correctly.<br />
To get the most benefit from stomach crunches, lie straight on the floor, bend your legs and keep your feet flat. You should then put your hands behind your head and curl upwards from your shoulders using only your stomach muscles. Keep your abs tightened, and slowly release them to roll your body flat back to the floor.<br />
Lifting your legs will help work the lower abdomen. Again, lie on your back and slowly lift your legs to an angle of around 45 degrees. You should then hold your legs in this position for around ten seconds before slowly lowering them back down to the ground.<br />
Thighs and Behind<br />
Wall squats will help tone your behind as well as your upper leg muscles. To do this effectively, stand around eighteen inches from a strong wall with your feet shoulder-width apart. Then lean back until your back is against the wall and slide down until you reach a sitting position. You should hold this for as long as possible &#8211; aim for a minimum of thirty seconds.<br />
After you have held the position, slide yourself back up the wall until you are standing again. Keeping your abdomen tight during the exercise will result in even more benefits.<br />
You can develop your inner thigh area by using a ball. Place it between your knees when you are sitting down in a chair and squeeze the ball repeatedly with your inner thigh muscles.<br />
Arms and Shoulders<br />
Light dumbbells or heavy household items can be great at toning and building muscle in the arms and shoulders. Simply hold the weight in one hand and raise your arm over your head, straight up with the inside of your arm facing the side of your head. You can support yourself by placing your other hand just under your elbow. You should lower and lift the weight behind your head slowly. Repeat for your other arm.<br />

When I said it is not easy because there is no short cut to get a flat belly with 6 pack abs. Only those late night informercials can give you fake promises that certain gizmos can help you get a flat belly. If you want an easy way out, then part your money to those advertisers forever and then get ready to be disappointed.<br />
No, even if you perform a trillion sit ups and leg raisers day in and day out is not gonna get you the coveted six pack abs. To get a flat belly you want, you will need to put in some work and get educated with some science.<br />
Here some helpful pointers to help you achieve your flat belly objective and if you stick on to it, you will find that not only will your belly get flatter week after week, you will also reduce excess body fat from all parts of your body and soon, your 6 pack abs will be revealed.<br />
Correct eating habit and nutrition is the most important factor in getting a flat stomach. Therefore you will need to control your blood sugar levels to lose body fat. One way to do that is to consume five to six meals small meals a day. Please note, I said small meals, such as dividing the portion of your three daily meals into 5-6 smaller meals.<br />
Next, reduce your carbohydrate consumption to about 50 percent or less from your meals. Most people eat way too much carbs anyway and before their body can burn the carbs for energy, the carbs would have been converted to glycogen and the further excess carbs into body fat.<br />
Consume your small meals at 2 to 3 hours intervals. This is because when your stomach is empty, your body will tend to conserve fat for energy and by eating frequently. You won&#8217;t want that to happen right? Furthermore, you will be controlling your blood sugar level to encourage fat loss and you will start to lose weight gradually.<br />
However, if you are still not losing weight, then you are consuming too many calories. In this case, make your meals even smaller by reducing more carbs.<br />
By the first week, you will probably lose between 4 to 5 pounds (about 2kg) of water weight and some body fat. By continuing to eat like this, you should be losing about 1 to 2 pounds per week. If you are losing weight more than that, then you are probably losing muscle weight too. In this case, then increase your carbs consumption a little until you achieve a gradual weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week.<br />
However, if you are not losing 1 to 2 pounds per week, then reduce another 100 calories from your meals. Remember to abstain from sugar laden drinks such as soda and soft drinks as these drinks are chock full of calories. Alcohol consumption is a big fat No No!<br />
Now, when you are losing weight, your belly will get flatter and flatter but you will still need to incorporate exercises into your weight loss routine to burn more calories as well as getting your muscles toned and getting the 6 pack abs. Furthermore, for every pound of muscle you that you gain on your body, you will burn 30-50 extra calories a day. You will then become a natural calorie burner.<br />

The striking thing about cropped jeans is that these can be found in both the versions we just concluded talking about in this article. Thus, you can have cropped baggy or cropped skin-tight jeans too. Cropped jeans versatility makes them fashion apparel you can wear during any season.
